Art Projects

Cassie made this sweet project out of a wooden oval.  Someone gave us a bunch of craft supplies and these ovals were in there.
Cassie used the fabric on Hannah's first blanket she made for her and she used pink and yellow colors which are Hannah's colors.  Cassie loves to do projects in memory of Hannah and I love to display these projects.
Valerie made this while playing with stencils.
Valerie made this also.  You can tell Hannah is on the mind of the children.  They miss and love her!
Terri Lynn made this drawing on a piece of wood.  She drew all the members of her family and that included Hannah.

♥♥♥♥♥Cassie and Hannah Grace♥♥♥♥♥

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

I Love this verse is one of my favorite verses. I quote it to my self a lot. It is so Hopeful. Even though all of the sad and hard things like losing Hannah have happened in our Family. We can have Hope that God knows what is best, and goods come out of all things even the very painful things. God has a plan for everything. Even when we don't understand.

The Letter 'H' Has a New Meaning in our Home!!

Nathan and Terri Lynn and Valerie worked with these Magnetics. Their first project was this
Another cool creation!
They raised the letter H and it looks cool!
Nathan makes these cookies once in a while and they are called "The Hannah Cookies"
Terri Lynn was doing school while I was helping Nathan she made her own letter "H". She was very proud!
Heidi painted this letter for Hannah and for Heidi!
Nathan wanted to make something with daddy.  Dad told him he needed to make a blue print.  So he drew up want he wanted and I helped him add measurements to the blue print.  Rick helped him cut the boards and nail it together.  Nathan even got to nail gun one nail!  Then he painted it!
Nathan made this a few months ago with dad.  He is so proud of it.  He painted it too!
Valerie's creation!  See the "H's" under the rainbow!
Valerie made this for Cassie:  "Cassie Loves Hannah!"
Heidi made this sweet little pillow for Hannah.  Hannah got the pleasure of getting to lay on it a few times!
Cassie made this pillow.  It is very nicely quilted!  So pretty!
Cassie put and "H" in the middle of the little quilt.  She made the quilt of the extra pieces of Hannah's blankets we made for her!
Cassie this is so cute!  It is a photo book!

The Letter 'H' Has a New Meaning in our Home!!
I can proudly say my children have been doing projects and memories of Hannah in healthy and healing ways.  It is neat for me to see their creativity and ideas.  We don't worship the projects but helping 7 children heal and work though losing their baby sister to Jesus's arms is all this has done.  It is great to do these things.  I don't give them suggestions for these items. They have done all these things on their own.  It shows me that Hannah is in their thoughts and minds often.  They are acting like normal children they are happy, healthy and open and stable.  This is because our family has been prayed for by so many and God has His arms  around our family.  He knows exactly where each child is in their grief.  I know them being allowed to create memories has helped them alot.

Zephaniah 3:17-20
17 The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.
18 I will gather those of you who mourn for the festival,
so that you will no longer suffer reproach.[c]
19 Behold, at that time I will deal
with all your oppressors.
And I will save the lame
and gather the outcast,
and I will change their shame into praise
and renown in all the earth.
20 At that time I will bring you in,
at the time when I gather you together;
for I will make you renowned and praised
among all the peoples of the earth,
when I restore your fortunes
before your eyes,” says the Lord.

Terri Lynn's Sweet Comments

Terri Lynn's Sweet Comments
Oh the sweetness of innocent comments just thinking and trying to make sense of life.
Terri Lynn lately has been talking alot about Hannah.  She makes these sweet comments or questions.  I can tell she is thinking about her baby sister that she misses.  It makes my heart smile when she makes these comments.  Even though it is hard to hear your daughter ask about her baby sister who is no longer with us.

Here are a few of these sweet comments:
-Does Jesus have diapers and clothes for Hannah to wear?
-When is Hannah coming back?
-I want Hannah to come back to us!
-I love Hannah so so so so much!
-When can we have another baby?
-How does Hannah eat?
-Hannah is my baby sister and I love her, we all love her!  and miss her so so so much!
-I wish I can go to heaven and visit Hannah!
-(As Terri Lynn is kissing the air) she says I'm kissing Hannah!
-I wish everybody could stay here and not go to heaven and not die!
-When I see Hannah in heaven I'm going to give Hannah a big hug and a big big kiss!

Terri Lynn always seem to say these comments at the most sweetest moments.  She will pray so sweetly for Hannah to come back.

Terri Lynn you are such a precious sweetie pie!!

Love you, Momma

Valerie and sweet sweet Hannah

What I Really Feel About Hannah
It has been really sad for me and hard. I know that all my family is sad about
Hannah too. How would you feel about if your baby sister died?
when I really feel sad is at night and sometimes I cry I'm mostly sad not crying.

Mary's Example For Me

Our window painting talents!!

Mary's Example For Me

I wanted to share a revelation God showed me.  I have been reading a book called, "Legacy of Faith" by Lydia Brownback.  I really have been enjoying this book. This book takes a look at biblical women and applies these women to women of today.   Amazing, while I was reading about Mary the mother of Jesus, I felt moved and realized God was speaking to me.

Here are my notes as I read chapter 16; Mary:Attaching the Extra to Ordinary

-Two things that are necessary for doing great things for God:
1. God chose me for salvation
2. I have a willingness to serve him in whatever and where ever He leads me.

-Joy comes from obeying God (am I obeying God?)

-Humility is important (am I humble?)

-Mary had: gratitude, joy, commitment, and humility
-as she served God and God knew she could handle all what she would face as the mother of Jesus.  She watcher her son die,  She watched her son get made fun of, she watched her son get shunned, she watched her son serve His heavenly father. She felt overwhelmed raising God's son!
-What I can see in Mary's example for me:  God equipped my heart and being to be able to handle watching my daughter die, to be able to handle watching her in the NICU until she could come home,  to be able to handle watching her turn blue,  to be able to stand proud of my special needs daughter,  to be able to be joyful in this trial I'd never dreamed I'd ever face.  God gave me commitment to Him and my family, joy unending in pain, humility as God gets all the glory, and gratitude that God picked my family to be Hannah's family and gratitude that God chose me to be Hannah's mommy!  God know I'd make the best mommy for her!  I have a thankful heart in the midst of the pain!

-Mary renamed faithful to what God called her too, even when she faced persecution because of her son Jesus and when her path became treacherous as Jesus' mother. God was with her every step of the way!
-I have felt like my path to healing after Hannah's death has been somewhat treacherous at times. I have lost a very very close friend. Who told me my burden was to much for her to bear so I was not welcomed to lean on her for support as a friend. I also was told several really mean things that torn me apart inside.  But God has been faithful to me
        - I realized God rarely reveals ahead of time how He will provide for me in a hard situation or whatever I will face.  God will show me when the need arises and I will know how to depend of Him and He will be with me every step of the way.  It takes faith to go forward every step of the way. As Mary did when she found out she will be the mother of Jesus and when I found out my baby will not be a normal baby.

-Mary was taken in as family by the disciple Jesus loved,  John.  Jesus knew Mary needed family and a son to love.  God provided for Mary in ways she would have never knew.
      - I know God provided for me and bless me as I walk in His ways and walk through this painful time in my life as a mother to a child in heaven and a "saint who has gone before us to heaven" God's blessing to my family is greater and much better than we could ever imagine.
-God will bless me in my obedience to His calling and His leadings.

Luke 1:46-55

Mary's Song of Praise: The Magnificat

46 And Mary said,
“My soul magnifies the Lord,
47 and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
48 for he has looked on the humble estate of his servant.
For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed;
49 for he who is mighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his name.
50 And his mercy is for those who fear him
from generation to generation.
51 He has shown strength with his arm;
he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts;
52 he has brought down the mighty from their thrones
and exalted those of humble estate;
53 he has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent away empty.
54 He has helped his servant Israel,
in remembrance of his mercy,
55 as he spoke to our fathers,
to Abraham and to his offspring forever

10,000 Reasons: Bless My Soul

I really like this song:
Listen here:

10,000 Reasons: Bless The Lord by Matt Redman

Bless the lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship you holy name

The sun comes up
Its a new day dawning
Its time to sing your song again
What ever may pass and whatever lies before me
Let me be singing when the evening comes

Bless the lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worshhip your holy name

You're rich in love and you're slow to anger
Your name is great and your heart is kind
For all your goodness i will keep on singing
10,000 reasons for my heart to find

Belss the lord oh my soul
Oh my soul

Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship your holy name

And on that day when my strength is failing
The end draws near and my time has come
Soon my soul will sing your praise un-ending
10,000 years and there forever more

Bless the lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship your holy name

Bless the lord oh my soul
Oh my soul
Worship his holy name
Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship your holy name (repeat 3x)

Sing like never before
Oh my soul
I worship your holy name (repeat 3x)

Philippians 4:4-8

Hannah's first time in church!  What a blessed time to share Hannah with our church family!

Philippians 4:4-8
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

This verse I share with you is a very special verse.  As I walked through a very stressful pregnancy know my baby may have major problems or life threatening issues.  I totally made these verses my verses.  I learned to trust God and not fear for my child.  I through praying these verses felt peace throughout my pregnancy; only the peace God can give.  My peace was not explainable through human strength.  God is good and He walked with me and gave me peace!  What a blessing to know God is with me every hard step we take!
